MUMBAI: An EMI Records India property VYRL Originals has released Laal Bindi, an upbeat track with its newly signed artist Akull Tandon. The track is sure to give you an ‘acoustic song feel’ while its music is sure to sway you on a different zone. Laal Bindi is loaded with R&B vibes, urban lyrics and the video is shot with complete swag. The track released under VYRL Originals has been sung and composed by Akull Tandon.
“A few months back I was randomly jamming on my piano and was brainstorming on my hook, that’s when I also got the word Laal Bindi. The track was completed and I sent Mohit sir a few songs to which he liked one of this. He asked me ‘Why don’t I put this track as a single’ and then we went further to project this on VYRL Originals. During this process Mohit (Suri) sir gave me freedom in terms of how I want to arrange and produce the track. He had a few suggestions, which I implemented on and the song was done,” explained Tandon on the song making process.”

One would surely love the casino set-up in Laal Bindi. “We thought of coming up with an interesting concept and there was the ‘casino’ concept’ and the story. While it took us two days to shoot in Goa, the experience was marvellous but was also stressful with the kind of timeline we got to shoot the whole casino bit,” added Akull.
