MUMBAI: Samsung has introduced the SGH-i900 mobile phone in India.
Sporting a platinum-look finish, the all-in-one phone takes advantage of Samsung’s patented TouchWiz user interface to simplify texting and data entering. It also shows off its unique widgets that allow you to customize and personalise various operations.
The other features of the Samsung Omnia phone include a high resolution touch-sensitive 3.2-inch WQVGA LCD screen, an on-screen QWERTY keyboard and a dome key. It also allows users to control communication and navigating through menus via intuitive tap, sweep, drag and drop operations using just the finger-tips.

It also comes with GPS capability that offers navigation and geo-tapping functionalities.
Moreover, the ultra-slim 12.5-mm profile Samsung Omnia packs in a pre-loaded a 5.0 megapixel CMOS camera with value-added functionalities such as auto-focus (AF), face detection, smile detection and auto-panorama shot. It plays video and display slide shows in high-resolution and offer enhanced audio capabilities. The handset also has MultiCodec support for DivX, Xvid and other video formats.
To store all the digital entertainment files, the elegant mobile phone comes in two storage configurations, that includes 32 GB (16 GB internal memory + 16 GB MicroSD card from Sandisk) and 24 GB (8 GB on-board memory + 16 GB MicroSD Card).
Based on Windows Mobile 6,1 Professional operating system, the Omnia ensures an effortless computing and allows you to access MS Office documents such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word. It enables you to send and receive email and manage appointments by Microsoft Outlook.
The Samsung Omnia phone is available for Rs.39,999/- (32 GB memory) and Rs 37,999/- (24 GB memory) in India.
