MUMBAI: Big FM has claimed a lead over rivals in 16 non RAM markets, including Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Surat, Baroda, Mysore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Bhubaneshwar, Asansol, Guwahati, Amritsar, Aligarh, Bikaner, Jammu and Jhansi.
The claim has been based on studies conducted by IRS, Indica and Mode, says Big FM., which credits its success to quality of content, RJ talk, Innovation and local connect Unique on-ground events and popularity of the RJs have also helped build upto the numero uno position across these markets within a span of two years, claims the station
While it stakes its claim to the crown in the mini metros, Big FM Mumbai and Bangalore continue their leadership in share for the period of Week 40 – 46, with a share percentage of 18 and 24.4 respectively, claims the station.
Big FM in Kolkata has the highest market share of 22.2 per cent for the longest duration from week 23 to 46, it adds.
