BANGALORE: Leading German jazz band, The Thomas Siffling Trio, will perform at Opus in Bangalore on 29 November.
Thomas Siffling, bandleader and composer, Markus Faller drums / percussion, Jens Loh upright bass find a wonderful balance between accoustic jazz and electronic groove music. Their soul-stirring music is enjoyed by the young and the young at heart and by fans of both electronic and groovy jazz music. The Trio’s latest album ‘cruisen’ is slated for release in January 2009. One of the popular albums by the band “Kitchen Music” is a culinary inspired concept album.
In 2006, the Trio performed as the official representatives for the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the Goethe-Institute on several international Festivals. The Trio is currently on a tour of South Asia on invitation by the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan.
