MUMBAI: As she brought in her 36th birthday on 29 July, ‘birthday girl’ Hard Kaur revealed that there are a lot of things happening, particularly on the music front. The rapper, who in the past has donned the hat of music composer, is currently working on new material. And if making music is not enough, Kaur has also decided to venture into artist management, and has signed her first talent- Sufi singer Satinder.
Kaur told Radioandmusic.com, “I have signed an artist named Satinder who is an amazing talent. His style of singing is Sufi and I happened to watch him on TV. I had been searching for him for four years now. I have recorded some amazing stuff with him.”
She also revealed that she has been busy working on two singles, and a music album with an all boys band. Commenting on the new material, the ‘Move Your Body’ singer said, “I am about to release two new singles. I am confident that the upcoming single, which is a much-awaited one, will be a huge hit among my fans. The subsequent single will be a hip-hop track.”

In addition to her solo career, Kaur has also managed to put together a band- The Stagz, which includes ‘Indian Idol 3’ contestants Parleen Gill and Abhishek Kumar. The ‘Zaalim Dilli’ singer confirmed that she will be producing, composing, writing and managing the band. Commenting further she said, “The Stagz will be a two-member pop-group, and with them, I will compose a new album.” Kaur added that for the album she will be working closely with upcoming lyricist Sonny Ravan.
It is left to be seen whether or not the album and singles will be released with a label. The ‘Ek Glassy’ singer said she would consider it, depending on the deal offered to her.
Presently, Kaur is hanging out with her family back in the UK. “I am celebrating my birthday with my family and lots and lots of cake. Well that is for the kids,” she stated. The singer, who loves cooking, also revealed that as part of the celebrations, she will be enjoying an “amazing meal”.
