MUMBAI: Darshan Raval, the runner up of reality singing show- ‘India’s Raw Star’ seems to have become Hindi GEC- Star Plus’ favourite voice. The singer has apparently lent his vocals for Frame Productions upcoming dance reality show ‘Dance Plus’.
Raval earlier sang for the show ‘Veera’ and is currently the musical voice for Abeer Malhotra (Pearl V Puri), the lead of Star Plus’ ‘Badtameez Dil’. If sources are to be believed, Raval recorded the ‘Dance Plus’ track on 17th July 2015.
“The song has a deep meaning to it but it is definitely not the title track,” said the source.
When contacted, Raval said, “There is no clarity on that yet. Currently I am busy working on my upcoming ‘Badtameez Dil’ songs, one of which will be the rock version of ‘Mere Nishaa’.”

As reported in the media earlier, the 21-year old was to sing eight songs for ‘Badtameez Dil’.
Raval, who is a big name in the Gujarati film music industry, started his TV career as a participant on the singing reality show ‘India’s Raw Stars’. He built a huge fan following on the show, but his competitor Rituraj Mohanty went on to win the trophy.
However, the artist has managed to win thousands of hearts and has a crazy female fan following on social networking sites. Currently, he is also trying his luck in Bollywood, and recently sang one track each, for two upcoming Bollywood films – ‘Villa’ and ‘69’.
A couple of weeks ago the artist also released a single titled ‘Ishq Chadha Hai’ on YouTube. The song is a co-production of Saaibaba Telefilms and Darshan Raval, and is expected to be released on other music streaming services.
