MUMBAI: Airtel, one of India’s largest telecom service providers, has just launched Wynk- a new music streaming application. Wynk Music, the ad free application will offer 1.7 million Indian and International songs, across eight different languages. Through this application, users will be able to stream and download songs by genres, moods and artistes, and even tune into any of the radio channels that the app offers.
The application offers unlimited ad-free streaming, playlists by moods, artistes and genres, internet radio for hours of un-interrupted music, set caller ring back tone for any song (this is exclusive to Airtel customers), a vernacular user interface where users can interact with the app in English or Hindi and a flexible sound quality – High(128kbps) / Medium(64kbps) / Regular(32kbps).
Users can further subscribe to Wynk Plus or Wynk Freedom to get unlimited downloads and even access music offline without any charges. With Wynk Plus, users will be able to get unlimited in-app downloads at Rs 99 per month and will also be able to download songs to play them offline. Wynk Plus users get the first month subscription free as trial offer, and a special subscription price for Airtel customers is Rs 29.

All payments can be made using carrier billing (again exclusive to Airtel customers), net banking, credit or debit card. Subscription will be renewed automatically every month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to expiry of current subscription period. It is available for iOS and Android users.
