MUMBAI: Not so long ago Alicia Keys sang about being on fire, and this girl is definitely on fire. Keys has been announced as the new face for Givenchy perfumes. The official announcement was made on Wednesday by the French label.
The Grammy winner took to her Twitter account to confirm the news. She posted the message, “So proud to be part of the @ParfumsGivenchy family! Much love & Divine engery! Love forever, Alicia.” Speaking about the new deal she said, “I’m honored to introduce the world to the newest scent by Givenchy. Givenchy has long been one of the world’s most iconic luxury fashion houses, and a personal favourite of mine.”
Keys will be appearing in adverts for a new Givenchy fragrance that is yet to be revealed. According to reports, the fragrance will be launched this September. The perfume deal marks the singer/ songwriter’s debut beauty contract. Apart from her music career, the 33 year old has a name in the fashion business as well. In 2012, she signed a deal with sports brand Reebok to launch a sneaker collection.
