BENGALURU: Last year Fever FM Bengaluru’s Rubina Patel enthralled retro music lovers, and more specifically lovers of Pancham da’s music, with a 17 hour marathon hosting on air – ‘U Me & RD’ to commemorate RD Burman’s birth anniversary. This year, the ‘Retro Queen’ as Rubina is called, plans a repeat on 27 July.
The show last year garnered high TSL for 10 hours and around 10,000 SMS in a single day for Fever Bengaluru. The station claims that over 100 fans visited the station to congratulate Rubina.
This year, Fever Bengaluru plans to play the best of Pancham songs as well have Bollywood celebs like Asha Bhonsle, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, KK, Farah Khan, Kumar Sanu, Rishi Kapoor among others, share their love for the Bollywood music genius on FM all day long.
