MUMBAI: Indie music platform Artist Aloud’s ‘Acoustic Tuesdays’ live music project has been joined by international music channel 9XO to promote and cover the performances of the live acts. 9XO’s role will include creating a weekly event guide for Acoustic Tuesday and playing available English music videos of the acts on its channel.
The project primarily supports indie artistes across multiple genres by inviting acts- solo and bands- to play their original material at Andheri’s The Little Door (TLD) pub in front of a live audience.
“Having a TV media (channel) as partner for our independent property will increase our ability to grow larger. Our show at TLD is a perfect fit and 9XO is an extension of that. It will help us amplify the event,” ArtistAloud Business and Product Head Soumni Shridhar Paul told Radioandmusic.com.
