MUMBAI: Pop star Lady Gaga new album ‘Artpop’ is due for release 11 November. The 27 year old star who recently underwent a hip surgery will release the first single off Artpop, produced by Electronic Dance Music –EDM- star Zedd on 19 August. Her fans “Little Monsters” and curious onlookers can pre-order the album and app starting 1 Sept.
A statement from her management said Gaga will release a social media app ahead of the album on 1 September which would seek to make connections between music, art, fashion and technology.
“The app itself is a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community — ‘the auras.’ Altering the human experience with social media, we bring ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition,” Gaga said on her Facebook post.
