MUMBAI: Leading record label T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar was involved in a minor controversy, when a scuffle broke out between security guards of his Andheri office and a residential complex on Thursday evening.
As per reports, guards from T-Series’ Andheri office and nearby housing society Oberoi Springs clashed after Kumar’s car entered the society through an exit gate without permission. Kumar who was in the car left before guards from the society and T-Series business park clashed with each other over the alleged trespassing. Three people, including his armed bodyguard, were injured in the fight.
Speaking with Radioandmusic.com on the issue, T-Series president-marketing and promotions Vinod Bhanushali said, “It was a small tiff between the security guards which was later sorted out very amicably. There was no police complaint registered by either sides and everything is back to normal now.”

The management of Oberoi Springs, located opposite T-Series believes that Kumar’s car may have entered the society through its exit to get onto a lane that leads to the Link Road.
Kumar had reportedly gone to meet music composer Anand Raj Anand, who lives in the society.
The trouble began at 4.45 pm when Kumar’s Rolls-Royce entered the society, which has three wings. The security guards tried to stop the car and an argument ensued between them and Kumar’s bodyguard, Devendra Singh and his driver.
Oberoi security supervisor Sanjay Jha alleged that around 15 people from T-Series complex arrived at the scene and assaulted the guards. Society residents claimed when Jha tried to stop Kumar, his guard bashed him up and another guard. Seeing Jha bleeding, most society members rushed to his help. At this point, Kumar’s guard allegedly held up his gun and issued a threat. Society residents then closed the gate, blocking Kumar.
T Series employees, whose office is opposite Oberoi Springs, allegedly pushed the gate open and began fighting with society members, forcing them to call police.
Jha suffered cuts on his forehead and other minor injuries, and had to get seven stitches. An Oberoi watchman, Ranjit Radhe Shyam, and Kumar’s bodyguard were also hurt in the incident. They were later treated at Cooper Hospital and discharged.
