MUMBAI: After announcing his debut live performance in Bangalore, Latin guitar legend Carlos Santana will headline the International Act at F1 Rocks in Noida.
His performance will encompass and showcase the ‘Greatest Hits’ tour for India, and complemented with spectacular production. Shillong-based rock band Soulmate will open the show for legendary guitarist. The concert has been organised by DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt Ltd and F1 Rocks.
The event will take place at Greater Noida, close to the 2012 Formula 1 Airtel Indian Grand Prix track on Sunday, right after the race.

Santana will also play his Latin-infused rock tracks at the Vladivar Rock N India fest for the country’s music fans on 26 October in Bangalore. He is also working on a yet untitled memoir, which will be published simultaneously in English and Spanish in 2014 sharing his memories with other legends of music industry like Miles Davis, BB King, Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Otis Rush and Harry Belafonte.
F1 Rocks is a distinctive musical event which has witnessed some of the key international music acts at Formula 1 events across the world, and this excitement is now being replicated in India with leading names from the International music scenario. Other performances lined up for the event include Shaan, Vishal-Shekhar and international DJ Taboo.
