MUMBAI: Renowned music industry professionals Lata Mangeshkar, AR Rahman and Javed Akhtar have been shortlisted as the contenders for the show ‘India’s Prime Icon’, to be dual cast on Big CBS Prime and Bloomberg TV.
Premiering on 12 October, the show will air every Friday and Saturday at 9:30pm and will chronicle the lives of some of the most influential personalities from the field of acting, politics, music and sports taking you up-close and personal with an exclusive look into their lives. Amongst the 20 contenders shortlisted, the top names include Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Ekta Kapoor, APJ Abdul Kalam, P Chidambaram, Saina Nehwal, Sachin Tendulkar and Nitish Kumar.
The show will also comprise of a board of opinion leaders like lyricist Prasoon Joshi, ad man Suhel Seth and columnist Malvika Sangghvi giving their expert opinions on each of these personalities. The trio will help the viewers select ‘India’s Prime Icon’.
