MUMBAI: Speculated to be the mentor for American Idol contestants, original judge Randy Jackson will return back on the judges’ panel for its new season. The singing reality show is schedule to premiere by January next year.
The selection process for its judges panel is still in process, Jackson will join pop diva Mariah Carey for the 12th season. Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias and Rapper Nicki Minaj are few of the front-runners for final judges chair. Minaj was non-committal on the news, she stated, “You know something, I don’t know yet. I really don’t know. I have no comment on it.”
Previous judges-rocker Steven Tyler and Latin singer Jennifer Lopez departed the show last season.
