MUMBAI: Expanding its Xperia series further, Sony has unveiled two smartphones – Tipo and Tipo Dual in the handset market.
The devices feature Sony’s Timescape UI, 3.2 inch scratch-resistant TFT touch-screen, HVGA resolution of 320×480 pixels, android Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.2 MP camera with 4x digital zoom, Adreno 200 graphics processing unit, xLOUD audio filter technology, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, USB port, 512 MB RAM, 2.5GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB on MicroSD card and 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The smartphones are also embedded with pre-installed Google apps like Google talk, mail, voice search and Google maps with street view and latitude. The only difference between the two handsets is the Tipo Dual which is a dual-sim smartphone.
The Xperia Tipo and Tipo Dual are available for pre order on Infibeam at Rs 9,499 and Rs 10,299 respectively.
