It proved to be a tough decision even for the judges as all kids had bounced back to life after dull performances on the Thursday episode. After much deliberation, they announced that Neha Verma from Allahabad was the one who was ousted from the show. Neha was shocked at being eliminated, even as she and Protek Ghosh were named the two most probable to be eliminated.
The only negative remark to Nehas singing came from Alka Yagnik. She commented on how Neha, who is learning yoga, should utilize it to improve her breathing so that she would sing more smoothly. Neha has wowed the judges in the earlier rounds, but her performance on Friday was not up to the mark. On being asked by Shaan as to why her performance was dwindling, she was unable to speak crying bitterly.
It was a close call for Protek because his performance was also not up to the mark. Getting grades in B from all judges for a good but difficult composition, Protek did not sing the classic song in sur and ended up facing the wrath of the judges. Proteks and Nehas mothers were of the opinion that whoever had not sung well should be eliminated. Winning and losing is part of the game, said Mrs Ghosh accepting the verdict.
But, the episode had many singers winning the hampers for getting all A+s from the judges. Shraddha, Pavani and Sanchita took home the hampers for their super performances. On the whole, the kids gave a better performance than the Thursday episode and gave their own animated opinions of the moon, with the theme being songs on the moon.
Shaan announced that the winner of LiL Champs will get a scholarship worth 15 lakhs from Kidzee, the second and the third runner up will also get a similar scholarship of 10 and 5 lakhs each. The contest is hotting up and after the furore on the sets over Aishwaryas inclusion, the kids are taking care not to make any mistakes.
