Mumbai: Popular playback singer Mamta Sharma who ruled the charts with her item number ‘Munni Badnam Hui,’ is looking forward to enthrall her fans at a live concert on 12 August in Chennai.
The singer will perform on her popular tracks including ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’, ‘Tinku Jiya’, ‘Anarkali Disco Chali’, ‘Aa Re Pritam Pyaare’ and the latest ‘Bol Bol Bachchan’. She will be accompanied by her band of musicians and two playback singers.
Speaking about the concert Sharma said, “I am looking forward to the Chennai concert, it will be quiet enthralling to perform along with my band of musicians. I love performing peppy dance numbers, and the live concert in Chennai will bring out that flavour of the song.”

Sharma has recently recorded a track with Mika Singh, composed by music director Anu Malik for Sunny Deol’s forthcoming action film ‘Singh Sahab – The Great’. The singer doesn’t have her kitty filled with much of bollywood projects for this year. “I recently recorded on Anuji’s composition for an upcoming film but won’t be able to say much as I am contract-bound. I enjoy singing item songs and would like to stick to that genre as it reflects reflects my fun loving nature. I would love to take projects that come my way, but currently I am enjoying my popularity and not working much this year.” She had performed an international concert in South Africa last month.
