MUMBAI: Coke Studio@ MTV (India)’ which made quite a buzz with its concept of music confluence is all geared up for its second season. The musical show is all set to launch by the mid-week of July.The tracks performed on second season will also be released in physical format on Sony Music
Coke Studio in its second year has enrolled renowned independent and bollywood artistes like Karsh Kale, Amit Trivedi, Nitin Sawhney, Clinton Cerejo, Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa, Swanand Kirkire and others. According to Karsh Kale, the second season is about to raise the bar and will be directed by different composers.

MTV Coke Studio India season one featured collaborative artistes like Shafqat Amanat Ali and Shruti Pathak, Sunidhi Chauhan and Wadali Brothers, Kailash Kher and Papon, Shankar Mahadevan and Khogen Da, and Bombay Jayshree, Richa Sharma and Rashid Khan amongst others. The songs from the season one were released on Sony Music India and was available on CDs, digital downloads and as caller tunes on mobile phones. The show was also available on DVD.
