MUMBAI: The King of Bhangra Daler Mehndi enthralled and entertained his fans by interacting in a Live Chat on Facebook. Mehndi, who not only, fielded questions from thousands of fans who logged in from all over the world, he also became the first musician ever to do a live video chat with fans on Facebook. The chat which was hosted by Hungama was streamed on the official â€?Daler Mehndi’ Facebook page.
With this live streaming interview show, Daler Mehndi has joined the clan of prestigious people and superstars to be interviewed by Facebook, and those include US president Barack Obama. Daler Mehndi has become the first Indian musician to have been roped by Facebook to interact with music lovers.
Mehndi, whose success is apparent in both the Indian and International markets, had huge number of people from Pakistan, United Kingdom, Europe, USA, and Canada waiting to get their lucky chance to connect with the Bhangra Sensation. He also seemed pretty geared up and excited during the chat. The questions varied from his attire and yellow turbans to the reasons of his energy behind his performances, from his food habits to his new year plans. Not only he answered all the questions, he also crooned songs requested by his admirers back to back. He spoke about his latest release Tunak Tunak Tumba, his life in general, about his classical foundation, likes and dislikes, and further plans including launch of Sufi as well as Ghazal albums.
