MUMBAI: Sony has extended the ‘music unlimited service’ on its Walkman PMP series.
The service will give access to music library of 10 million songs with two content sources, Channels and My Library. The Channels will feature radio-like collections based on era and genre, while My Library will allow users to sync music to their devices.
The Walkman PMP series users will have to connect to their PCs to transfer content.
In a statement, Sony said, “Sony Entertainment Network’s Music Unlimited service features an ever expanding global catalogue of over 10 million licensed songs and is currently available in nine countries including Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.”
The Music Unlimited platform is available for the NWZ-A860, S760, and E460 series Walkman portable media players.
