MUMBAI: The dream of a lifetime came true for lucky Mirchi listeners on Wednesday as they got to meet the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, in a culmination to the â€?Coolest Bbuddha’ contest, organized by Radio Mirchi.
In an exciting contest run by Radio Mirchi, listeners were invited to share the reason why they think their dads still rock at their age! Big B and Mirchi fans were excited to grab this exciting chance! Following many heart-warming and amusing tales of the cool dads on the Mirchi airwaves, a lucky Mirchi listener and his dad were selected to meet the living legend of tinsel town in person at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach. It was a fun-filled affair as the Angry Young Man who created a tremendous fan-following with his cult status, persona and charisma was seen enjoying the day, reliving old moments and chatting about his latest cool and funky avatar with his fans!
The lucky winners, Vinesh and his dad Viju, were thrilled to meet the charismatic Big B in person and experience the aura of the versatile legend up, close and personal. Viju, a die-hard Bachchan fan, was announced as the Coolest Dad ever! Gushing about his dear dad’s ultra-cool persona, Vinesh, a student from Satey College said in his winning entry on the Mirchi airwaves that his dad has always been the Biggest Fan of the great Big B and has watched all of his movies. Not only is he an ardent admirer of the living legend’s movies, but has always been an extremely chilled out supportive Dad which makes him such a Cool Bbuddha. Amitabh Bachchan was pleasantly surprised to see that the Coolest Dad of Mirchi sports a French beard, inspired by him!
