MUMBAI: Google celebrated 96th anniversary of the country, jazz guitarist, songwriter and inventor Les Paul by creatively designing an innovative digital guitar doodle on its home page on 9 June.
The doodle was a solid-body electric guitar which responded to certain number combination on keyboard. For e.g.: The number one key played the lowest note whereas number zero strummed the highest notes and by hitting several number (or letter) keys at a time composed a chord.
Users were able to play the guitar with computer mouse and also record 30 seconds track of their own creative music. The doodle was developed by Google engineers Kristopher Hom, Joey Hurst and doodle team leader Ryan Germick.
