MUMBAI: Straight out of Antelope Valley, High Desert-based hard rockers Distorted Fate co-headline “A Reason to Live” Teen Suicide Benefit concert at Lancaster on Friday June 17 at 7-11 p.m.
“One of the leading causes of death among teenagers is suicide,” says A Reason To Live organizer, Cory Bailey. “The CDC reports that suicide is the third-leading cause of death, behind accidents and homicides, among teenagers ages 15-24, and even more disturbing, the fourth-leading cause of death for children ages 10-14. The pressure of being a teen is more difficult then when we were teens…our children will always be our future. Please take a minute to tell them how much they mean to you!”
DistortedFate is also scheduled to perform at A Tsunami Of Entertainment, a benefit for the victims of the recent Japanese earthquake, at an outdoor venue in Southern California later this Summer tba shortly. Headlining acts (twenty bands in all) also tba.
