* Mirchi Bengaluru hunts for Dr.Rajkumar’s look alike
MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi Bengaluru has organized a week long celebration on the occasion of Dr.Rajkumar’s 83rd birthday, on Sunday, 24th April, 2011. The station is paying a tribute with special on-air promotions and programs held in the memory of the legendary actor.
Drawing inspiration from Annavaru’s immense contribution to the Kannada film industry, Radio Mirchi has organized a look alike contest for its listeners. Mirchi listeners can upload their photographs on the station’s website and urge for votes. The winner of the contest will be announced on Annavaru’s birthday. The station is also playing songs from his movies, his popular dialogues and organizing contests in the memory of the actor
