MUMBAI: With the cricket World Cup slowly gaining momentum, IPL franchisees have started preparing for the IPL T 20 tourney set to go underway on 8 April.
Among the several initiatives by the franchisees, the one by first-time entrants Kochi team Indi Commandos is interesting. Filmmaker Priyadarshan has been assigned to film its theme song for the IPL team.
The shoot for the theme song of around two-minute long is on. It is being shot at the picturesque Varapuzha backwaters location and the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi.

‘The theme song, that was composed by music director Ousepachen, will feature all the leading players of the team. The shooting will be held in Chennai and other places in the country, it is understood.
In March last year, Rendezvous Sports won the franchise rights for the Kochi IPL team.
