MUMBAI: On the second anniversary of the attacks, Red FM has just one question for Mumbaikers: Do you feel safe and secure? Red FM has thrown open its airwaves to the listeners, and the station says it’s received thousands of phone calls and messages from listeners right from fishermen living on the Mumbai coastline to journalists who covered the Qasab trial.
The station is airing important messages throughout the day and will also pose some tough questions to government authorities and top officials from Force One, NSG and the coastal services, asking them what measures have been taken so far to prevent another terrorist attack.
The station acknowledges that the government has initiated reforms and spent crores of rupees in trying to make Mumbai safer, and even lists out the following initiatives:
