MUMBAI: The flamboyant singer Armaan Malik no longer needs an introduction. He is one of the most talented singers of our country. But, instead of putting any fine words further, we would like to break an exclusive piece of information. Well, this is a big one! The father-son duo Daboo Malik and Armaan Malik are coming together for the first time for a Telugu film ‘Ekta’.
To cut a long story short, Armaan recently worked on a project with his father, music composer Daboo Malik. The track is for Telugu movie ‘Ekta’. Daboo Malik has composed the music for the film and Armaan has lent his voice to a track.
“It is a bilingual film. So, it will release in both Hindi and Telugu. The song ‘Aj Se Pehele’ is a romantic number. It has an orchestral sound palate with a very strong melody. My mother is a Telugu, so I found it rather easy to sing in the language. Dad has composed it, so the melody has to be evidently present. This is the first film song I have sung for my dad,” Armaan stated being bright and breezy.

“I don’t know the release date yet, it should be out sometime soon,” added the joyful singer.
People who do not know, Armaan has earlier sung for a Telugu movie song, ‘Emo Emo’ (Katamarayudu), along with Shreya Ghoshal. The song was composed by Anup Rubens and penned by Anantha Sriram. The movie ‘Katamarayudu’ released on 24 March 2017.
Directed by Suman Reddy and produced by Bikshamaiah Sangam and Suman Reddy, in association with B.S. Production House and Viraat Cinemas, the movie ‘Ekta’ will feature Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Robin Sohi, Nasir Khan, Salil Ankola, Pranathi Rai Prakash, Baahubali Prabhaker, Rushad Rana, and Avneet Kaur.
