MUMBAI: The office of Hungama Digital Media saw a very vibrant day at work. The already grand office offered a little teaser of what is to be a bash. Bollywood Music Project (BMP) powered by Hungama saw its first edition last October with headlining acts that flaunted big names like Arijit Singh and Amit Trivedi.
This time around Bollywood Music Project looks bigger and badder and it’s all set to rock Delhi on 25-26 March. The stellar line-up this year includes Ah King, Rekha Bharadwaj, Vishal Sekhar, Raftar, Badshah and many more.
The ever vibrant work atmosphere at Hungama went up two folds when the bubbly RJ Urmin from Fever 104 FM took over the microphone and did what she does the best. Very shortly after talking a bit about the project, she invited Shashwat Singh and Yashita Sharma on stage for a little candid chat. Shashwat talked about his experience of working with the legendary AR Rahman before he went out to sing ‘Alizeh’ from ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil.’ Joined by Yashita, the mood for the rest of the evening was set with ‘Alizeh’ and a couple of other tracks.

Next up was Divya Kumar and Radioandmusic had the opportunity to share some backstage moments with this powerhouse singer. “Hungama has always initiated such beautiful events that promote musicians of varied margins. I have had the good fortune of working with them earlier and I am totally psyched about performing today,” he said. The ‘Sun Saathiyaa’ hitmaker is a natural on stage. His grounded disposition immediately won hearts and his singing was the icing on the cake. He belted out hits like ‘Havan Karenge’, ‘Shake Your Bootiya’ and also explained in the most hilarious manner why ‘G Phaad Ke’ is called so.
Divya was followed by Ash King on stage whose eccentricity gave a befitting end to the musical evening. With his devil may care attitude he went on to make the audience giggle and smile all throughout his stay on stage. With numbers like ‘I Love You’ and ‘Te Amo’ he got all the employees grooving and swaying to his tunes. The event ended with all the singers coming together to sing ‘Aunty Ji.’
The event was an hour long one and everyone was all smiles at the Hungama office at the end of it all. The sample of the kind of vibes one can get at the Bollywood Music Project makes Delhi the next destination spot.
