MUMBAI: Radio Nasha is India’s first ‘cool retro’ station which presents the best of ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. Based in two prime cities Mumbai and Delhi, the station already has more than 8.4 million listeners to its credit in both the cities in less than a year of its launch.
107.2 FM Radio Nasha, Delhi, hosted the coolest retro concert that the city has ever seen with none other than the nightingale herself Asha Bhosle. The last Empress performed for live audience in Delhi after almost seven years. This was her farewell tour and perhaps one of her last live performances in Delhi. The concert was held on 25 February 2017, at the Ambience Island grounds in Gurgaon and lasted for close to three hours.
The concert was graced by performances from Javed Ali and Mika Singh who accompanied Asha Bhosle in her spectacular performance. Javed Ali set the mood for the rest of the evening by opening for the living legend. Asha Bhosle began the concert with a Lata Mangeshkar song, ‘Lag Ja Gale’ and then proceeded to mesmerize the audience with some of her best melodies including ‘Chura Liya hai’, ‘Dil Cheez Kya Hai’ and ‘In Aankhon Ki Masti’. The concert ended on a high note with Asha Bhosle, Javed Ali and Mika along with the host RJ Anmol making the audience dance to the tunes of ‘Monica… Oh my darling!’
