MUMBAI: Warner Music has signed a deal with Tapulous, the music app developer iPhone and iPod to promote Warner Music Group’s artistes via the TapTap series of mobile games.
Over the next year Tapulous will launch four games on the Apple App Store which will include music from WMG artists. These will include premium apps featuring unique content such as remixes of tracks that have already been released.
As part of the deal, Tapulous will include links to sell tracks released by Warner Music directly from its TapTap Revenge game. This partnership allows Tapulous to offer an unprecedented range of music to its 30 million users.
It has earlier signed similar deals with Universal and Sony Music entertainment also.
