MUMBAI: Singer Amit Mishra best known for his hit tracks ‘Manma Emotion Jaage’ and ‘Sau Tarah Ke’ has added another feather to his cap. Amit recently won the Screen Award, best singer category for his chartbuster track ‘Bulleya’ from ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and he can’t stop gushing about it.
A source close to him says, “Amit has been on cloud nine ever since he won the award as there was some stiff competition in the category. It’s a great achievement for Amit and he hopes to bag many more during this award season. What makes it even more special is that the category had some of Amit’s favourite singers nominated as well.”
For Amit, the love he’s receiving from his audience is surreal to say the least, talking about his win he says, “The album had some really beautiful songs which have been sung so brilliantly and among all of those tracks, to have won for Bulleya is just surreal. I’m really grateful to the audiences and Pritam sir for showering me with so much love”
