The Thane Rotary Charity Trust are the organisers of this event and was formed by Rotary Club of Thane for furthering charitable causes. Rotary Club of Thane, chartered on 02nd June 1958 is a part of the Rotary International family, which has over 1.2 million members spread over 256 countries. During this Rotary year (July 2016-June 2017), they have embarked on a special journey to set up a Dialysis centre for the under-privileged in Thane and are seeking the support of individuals who share their concerns and vision for the society. One of the most concerning and growing health issue in India today is CKD (Chronic Kidney Disorder). This disease affects all strata of society including the economically less privileged.
To raise funds for the cause, they are organising a musical concert by Mr Hariharan in Thane on 20th November 2016. Mr. Hariharan shall be performing in Thane after a very long time. They welcome socially conscious individuals to support this cause through Donor Passes and be enchanted by a multiple award winning artist.
