MUMBAI: Talented Pakistan based singer Rustam Fateh Ali Khan makes his debut in India with his debut album ‘Meri Dharkan’ released by Worldwide Records.
It was reported earlier that Worldwide Records had signed a deal with the singer in April this year.
Meri Dharkan consists of 11 songs, and has a sufi – classical flavor to it. Two songs from the album ‘Yaadein’ and ‘Chalo Yeh Sochain’ have been made into a music video.

Son and disciple of Ustad Bare Fateh Ali Khan, Rustam Fateh Ali Khan is regarded as one of the finest vocalist amongst the younger generation. He has received National acclaim for his renditions of khayal and thumri. The singer is also the first classical singer to teach M.A Musicology at the Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan.
