NEW DELHI: Even as it shared the ownership details of 25 applicants for the e-auction of the second batch of Private FM Radio Phase-Ill Channels, the Information and Broadcasting ministry made it clear that “Publication of this list in no way implies that the applications will be pre-qualified merely on submission of the ownership compliance certificate”.
The application of Agrani Homes Pvt. Ltd. was rejected as it has failed to comply with the requirements of clause 5.2.3.1 and 5.2.4.4 of the Notice Inviting Applications of 20 June 2016.
The notice said duly executed ownership compliance certificate must be submitted in hard copy before 5.00 pm on 22 August 2016 during office hours in the office of the Deputy Secretary (FM).

These details are as submitted by the Applicants, the Ministry said, adding that it had not verified the accuracy of the information.
Four sets of the ownership compliance certificate need to be submitted in a single sealed cover. The first set shall be marked as ‘ORIGINAL’ and shall be duly signed in ink on each page by the Applicant. The other three photo copies of the original set (certified by Authorized Signatory) shall be marked as ‘COPY NO —–‘. Name and address of the Applicant shall be displayed on the sealed cover.
The Applicants should also submit scanned soft copy of the Original set on CD- ROM/ DVD in a single ‘pdf document’.
In case of discrepancies between the copies and the Original, the Original shall prevail.
However, the government also reserves the right to summarily reject applications in case of discrepancies between the copies and the original.
