MUMBAI: Red FM’s latest property, Redtro that was acquired under the Phase III license by the company promises to bring back the tunes of the 90s. The retro station that launched in Mumbai yesterday (22 June 2016) will be playing the 90s music, unlike its contemporaries who have selected a wider zone. Radio Nasha plays music from the 1970s, 80s and 90s while Big FM plays music from the black and white days to the late 90s.
Another retro music FM station, Redtro, hits Mumbai airwaves
As reported by Radioandmusic.com the retro station has a line-up of experienced on-air talent to run different shows. Thus, the usual Redtro day opens up with RJ Saurabh with whom you can enjoy your cutting chai with equally cutting sarcasm and tongue-in-cheek, intelligent humor. Then enters, RJ Pritam, the former ‘Big Boss’ contestant, who will share the most sizzling gossip. He will not stop at this, Pritam will also teach you the trick of wooing a woman, daily from 11am to 2 pm. Afternoon is taken over by RJ Palak who is your shot of inspiration – the epitome of adventure. RJ Sudarshan is the man about town who will tell you Mumbai’s pulse – what’s trending, every evening. Finally, RJ Rhicha, the connoisseur of 90’s music will have a heart-to-heart conversation with you every night.

Redtro 106.Chaar is Red FM network’s second radio station in Mumbai. It was acquired in Phase III auctions along with eight more stations, namely, Srinagar, Jammu, Jodhpur, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Patna, Surat, and Chennai.
