MUMBAI: Chennai based record label and audio/visual production house EarthSync has collaborated once again with the Berklee College of Music, Boston, to present the second edition of the Berklee India Exchange – a series of clinics across India consisting of workshops, master-classes and panels presented by distinguished faculty from Berklee College of Music.
This year’s series will be hosted by Nathaniel School of Music, Bengaluru (12 June and 13 June 2016) and KM College of Music & Technology, Chennai (15 June and 16 June 2016).
The Berklee India Exchange was founded to nurture collaborations between India and Berklee, while also connecting Berklee students of all nationalities to renowned musicians in the Indian industry. This year’s clinics will focus on the theme of music technology in music production and performance, with the aim of showcasing different ways and insights into using technology as a means to develop one’s own ideas and musical performance. The two day sessions will examine various approaches, practices and concepts currently emerging in the digital music industry, providing students with a wide array of technical, practical and theoretical skills. The speakers will feature highly qualified Berklee faculty including Emmy award winning composer Stephen Webber and senior VP for innovation, strategy and technology at Berklee David Mash.
