MUMBAI : Actor-singer Shruti Haasan has collaborated with Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa to launch a single on the occasion of Women’s Day. Titled ‘My Day In The Sun’, the single brings the unlikely trio together, thanks to Farhan Akhtar’s Farout Media.
The composition, penned by Shruti Haasan, focuses on how women’s empowerment will uplift and improve the entire world together.
Haasan, who first sang for maestro Illaiyaraja’s composition over two decades ago, has been musically active ever since. Haasan has written songs in multiple languages, and the versatility extends to her singing too.
