MUMBAI: After dominating the music scene, T-Series is gradually establishing its foothold in film production space.
The latest film produced by T-Series is Anees Bazmee’s â€?Ready’ starring Salman Khan and Asin. The film is set to go on floors in June 2010 and slated for a June 2011 release. The music for Ready is composed by Pritam.

The production under the label’s wing include Nikhil Advani’s Patiala House, John Mathew Matthan’s A Love Issshtory, Pooja Bhatt’s Kajraare to name a few.

Some of the recent productions by T-Series include Himesh Reshammiya starrer Radio, Nagesh Kukunoor’s 8X10 Tasveer, Karzzz by Satish Kaushik, Priyadarshan’s Bhool Bhulaiya, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Tum Bin…: Love Will Find a Way to name a few.
The music label was embroiled in a legal hassle over remake of â€?’Apka toh jaise taise’ for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull. Prakash Mehra Productions had sent a legal notice to Nadiadwala, T-Series and HMV for using the song from Laawaris without seeking the necessary permission. Bhanushali clarifies, The music for Laawaris was acquired by Saregama HMV and we took the requisite permission from the label before remaking it. Talks are on with the production house and the issue will be sorted soon….
On the music front, T-Series has its hands full with Kites, Housefull, Jaane kaha se aaye hai in the time being.
