MUMBAI: If you are a Benny Dayal fan, you could most likely also become an owner to one of his many hats or caps. The ‘Pappu Can’t Dance Sala’ hitmaker has a huge, impressive collection of hats and caps, which he put on for show at his concerts. And while most of Dayal’s fans have admired his headgear from a distance, they might now actually have the opportunity to own them as the musician plans to auction the collection.
“I have 133 caps and hats and I might auction them for the fans,” stated the ‘Tu Meri Dost Hai’ singer. He added, “Most of my collection remains unused as I have restricted myself to four or five caps. However, the rest of them have been picked from everywhere and the auction will give my fans an opportunity to own them.” He plans on auctioning his beloved possession sometime next year.
Until then, however, Dayal will be busy on the work front. He is currently on-board to mentor #Fame’s ‘Closeup Websinger’ contestants and he is really happy to have been given the opportunity to associate with the unique concept. “There are so many people sitting back home wanting to be musicians. This is an opportunity for them. In fact, most of the youngsters these days upload their music videos on YouTube and ‘Websinger’ gives them an opportunity to be judged and gazed upon. Moreover you never know they might get picked by a music composer or producer who notices their performance,” explained Dayal. The ‘Party All Night’ singer added, “We are guiding them so that they can be amazing at it and create a living out of it.”
