MUMBAI: Think Music today announced PAIYA was their 50th album in film music genre. Since the music of PAIYA has been so successful, music director Yuvan Shankar Raja announced a new track would be added to the film and the new CD release would be timed to coincide with the release of the much-looked forward to movie.
Popular music directors Yuvan Shankar Raja, Thaman, Dharan, James Vasanthan and Karthik Raja felicitated Think Music at a conference held to announce their future initiatives.
Pradeep Anandhan – Head of Content & New Business, Think Music said, Think Music was launched in the year 2007 with actor Surya in Vel and music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It proved to be a big hit. Ever since, we have paid equal importance to both big films and new gen films like Subramaniapuram, Vennila Kabadi kuzhu etc. Meanwhile star cast films like Yaradi Nee Mohini, Silambattam, Adhavan, Vettaikaran have also done very well. We have signed up for more than 65 films of which Sura starring Vijay is our 60th film. We have a great line up for this year and are looking forward to having more hits….
Talking in detail on the future initiatives, Priya Krishnan – Head Marketing, Think Music said, Our upcoming releases include the eagerly awaited SURA featuring Ilayathalapathy Vijay, produced by Sun Pictures with music by Mani Sharma. SURA is also the 50th film of Vijay and is expected to be a big success. Other movies include BALE PANDIYA produced by AGS Productions, directed by Siddharth featuring debutante music director Devan, who moves from playback singing to scoring music. MADRASAPATTINAM produced yet again by AGS Productions features actor Arya and music by G V Prakash, â€?Ayyanar’ by Thaman & Adhi duo. Elaborating further, Priya Krishnan stated that PAIYA marks a major milestone in Think Music’s foray into music. Think Music plans presence in all spheres of music – web, radio, tv, mobile phones etc. PAIYA songs and downloads are available on 50 international online sites and we have created mobile applications, particularly for iPhones. We will be focusing on increasing our physical distribution to several hundred outlets in Tamil Nadu this quarter….
