MUMBAI: Pop artist Ajay recently released his first Solo Album `Aaja Sajna` in India courtesy YBR Records.The Brit-Asian singer and songwriter, Ajay first released his tracks in UK via the medium of radio and now in India. His tracks were well appreciated in the UK and he expects the same from his home country. He says, “I don`t mind if tomorrow a man singing my song doesn`t know my face. I don`t care if people don`t know me but they must know my music.”
UK already has heard and enjoyed the tunes of his songs such Aaja Sajana, Kasam Se and Funki Dholi. The singer preferred to record his songs in the UK and when asked the reason he commented, “I believe when you sing a song the mood is captured on the mike. The atmosphere affects the mood a lot. So I wanted to sing in the vicinity I was born and brought up in. I also wanted the UK music professionals to get a feel of the Indian music.” Ajay has worked alongside amazing bands and artists such as, Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies, Apache Indian, the legendary Gregory Isaacs and Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan himself.
