MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi made this year’s international woman’s day special in its own way. Radio Mirchi, India’s leading radio station and LIC of India celebrated the spirit of womanhood with its flagship live music property Mirchi Live at Shanmukhnanda Hall, Sion, Mumbai. One of Bollywood’s leading vocalist, Alka Yagnik dedicated the musical night to women by mesmerizing her listeners with her famous renditions.
Commemorating this very special day, Alka Yagnik paid a musical ode to women. This 2 hour special musical extravaganza recognized the spirit and courage of women in a unique and exceptional way. Alka Yagnik enchanted the audiences an impressive range of mainstream hits. The idea of creating an evening that was exclusively dedicated to celebrating the spirit of women through music was something that struck a chord with not only the attendees but also with listeners on Radio Mirchi.
