MUMBAI: Music director Shashwat Sachdev is on cloud nine as his idol Daler Mehndi has crooned a song, titled, Jagga, for the upcoming Bollywood movie, Uri – The Surgical Strike.
Speaking about the same, Shashwat said, “It was always a dream to have Daler Bhaji sing one of my compositions and stand here and seeing my dream come true is a blessing. Daler sir’s rendition of my song is beautiful, a gift I will cherish.”
“Daler Bhaji was my reason to join the music industry. It was the Coca Cola Tour, where Isaw him perform to a packed audience of over 60,000 people and was blown away by his performance. It feels incredible to stand here at his studio, in Delhi, and see him sing today for my project,” he added.

Starring Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Mohit Raina and others, Uri – The Surgical Strike is slated to release on 11 January 2018.
