MUMBAI: After launching his own music label in 2006, Oscar winning composer A R Rahman has now launched his own online shop.
The A R Rahman Store, on his official website (www.arrahman.com) presently sells seven items, but says it plans to expand the inventory to include exclusive presale tickets, merch, DVDs and more…. But currently one can only shop with Canadian Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, and US Dollars.
Under Soundtracks & Scores…, it offers â€?Slumdog Millionaire’ (2008), â€?Elizabeth: The Golden Age’ (2007), â€?Bombay Dreams’ (2002), and â€?Original London Production: The Lord Of The Rings’ (2008); while offerings in Albums & Compilations… include â€?Vande Mataram’ (1997), â€?Between Heaven And Earth’ (2004), and â€?The Best of A.R. Rahman: Music and Magic From the Composer of Slumdog Millionaire’ (2009). Prices range from USD 12.49 to USD 22.99.
