MUMBAI: Diwali is all about family gatherings, sweets, lights and spreading the cheer. On the occasion of the five day festival, our musicians spoke to Radioandmusic.com about the joy of being together with the family and enjoying the festival to the fullest.
Sonu Nigam: Deepavali is one of the legacies passed on to us by our ancestors. I feel the festival symbolises the true spirit of India. I wish all my countrymen a very happy and a prosperous Diwali. May God bless all of us.
Palak Muchhal: I wish everyone a very very happy Diwali. This Diwali I would request all of us to stop bursting crackers as not only does it pollute the air, but also the stray animals get affected by the noise. I say this because I have a pet at home and even the slightest of noise startles him; image the plight of the stray animals.
