Dil Ka Mizaaj:
Catchy lyrics coupled with the voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, this is a soothing romantic number. The music arrangement may be simple but the track definitely is worth listening to.
Horn OK Please:
Horn Ok Please is yet another upbeat song with a tinge of a rap by Yo Yo Honey Singh, who takes to the song to a completely different level. The rapper adds his charm to the track and gives it a Punjabi tadka. Sukhwinder Singh and Anoushka Manchanda have also lent vocals for the song.
Hamari Atariya:
One witnesses a classic combination of tabla and guitar in the mujra. The musical arrangement is simply superb and Rekha Bharadwaj’s singing skills are just the icing on the cake.
Zaban Jale Hai:
Sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the song is both, romantic and classy. It takes you back to the 1990’s gazal era and the composition gives a retro effect to the song.
Jagaave Sari Raat:
Rekha Bharadwaj once again is spot on with her singing skills; the alaap also features the voice of Pandit Birju Maharaj. The song is a perfect epitome of a mujra.
Kya Hoga:
The last song is Kya Hoga. It’s a qawwali with the lyrics “Dil Toh Diya Hai, Jaan Bhi De De, Aur Nazrana Kya Hoga”. It begins with an alaap and is sung by Shahid Mallya, Master Salim and Jazim Sharma.
To sum it up; all the tracks on the album are extremely good. However only time will tell if the movie is equally good.
