MUMBAI: In January this year, English progressive trance act- Above & Beyond released their fourth album ‘We Are All We Need’. Since then, the trio has been pushing their album and are busy touring. Prior to releasing the album, Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki, played at Vh1 Supersonic music.
Jono Grant spoke to Radioandmusic.com more about their fourth album.

Why have you named the album ‘We Are All We Need’?
The title is taken from the song on the album, and we felt it conveyed the concept of what people can achieve when working together.
How long did it take to complete the album?
I think it took the best part of 4 years to write, record and produce the album. Too long!
What was the inspiration behind the new album?
The inspiration comes from our lives and other music that we listen to and absorb.
Name a few favourite tracks from the tracklist and why?
Two of my favourites are ‘Peace of Mind’ and ‘Counting Down the Days’. I think ‘Peace of Mind’ is one of the stronger tracks that Zoe sang on, and ‘Counting Down the Days’ is simple yet powerful.
What is happening with ‘Above & Beyond Group Therapy’?
Each week the show seems to go from strength to strength, with our listener numbers growing. The show is only as good as the music we get sent, so the future is in the hands of the music makers!
Which artistes/DJ/Producers would Above and Beyond like to work with?
It would be great to make a track with Depeche Mode.
What are your plans for 2015?
Our plan is to tour the album, and also to produce a lot of club mixes of tracks on the album to play at shows. We will also be doing a couple of remixes of other artists this year, such as the remix of ‘Faithless’ that you have probably already heard.
